OUANAMINTHE— Saut D’Eau Acul des Pins, situated in Haïti’s northeast department, is a great spot for swimming, making it an excellent attraction for visitors to the department and lovers of tourist sites during the summer.
Located in the 2nd communal section of Ouanaminthe, Acul des Pins, Jassa Saut d’Eau is commonly referred to as Saut d’Eau Acul des Pins by the residents.
The Acul des Pins waterfall cascades gracefully over grayish rocks, surrounded by lush green trees. This waterfall is a stunning sight for nature enthusiasts. At the end of the school year students in the department usually come to enjoy the waterfall.

The rocks, sand, and water quality are rated from “very good” to “critical”, depending on their location. Various bird species and green trees are present far from any wastewater effluent or industrial waste from the city of Ouanaminthe.
