CAP-HAITIEN — From Monday through Thursday, the streets, public marketplaces, and schoolyards of Cap-Haïtien buzzed with excitement and anticipation of students in their final year of high school making their way to official exam centers. For these new generations of Haitians, this significant event — traditionally known as the baccalauréat exam — represents more than just an academic test. It is a rite of passage that concludes their educational journey in a country fraught with multiple crises and opens new doors to future opportunities.
Through their determined expressions and focused preparations, these students show their steadfast aspirations as they strive toward their dreams despite hardships, anxiety, and uncertainties. The Haitian Times extends its best wishes for success to them as they navigate this critical stage of their lives.
