Haiti Creative Art & Craft Show to spotlight Haitian artisans in Florida

A dynamic fusion of culture, creativity and commerce will unfold at the 2025 Haiti Creative Art & Craft Show, taking place June 21–22 at the Island SPACE Caribbean Museum. The event is designed to elevate Haitian artistry and connect makers from Haiti and the diaspora with broader audiences.

The show, part of Caribbean American Heritage Month and coinciding with World Music Day, aims to draw more than 2,000 visitors to the museum inside the Broward Mall. Organized by the Danielle Saint Lot Haiti Women’s Foundation in collaboration with Bèlzèb Inc, Ayiti Arts, and NAAHP, the event showcases fine art, ethical fashion, home décor, and culinary heritage.

Over 20 exhibitors from Haiti and the diaspora will present a diverse range of products, including handcrafted fashion, metalwork from Croix-des-Bouquets, textile appliqués from Abricots, and wellness products. Attendees can also explore an exclusive exhibit by Levoy Exil, a master painter of the Saint Soleil movement.

The “Koupe Dwèt Taste Pavilion” will highlight artisanal Haitian food, culminating in a VIP Heritage Tasting Experience on June 22. Hosted by celebrity Chef Ron Duprat, the tasting features traditional dishes like soup joumou and cassava, both recognized by UNESCO as elements of Haiti’s intangible cultural heritage.

Organizers emphasize key themes, including diaspora economic empowerment, women’s leadership in the creative industries, and art as a tool for cultural preservation.
