LABADIE, Haiti – A stone’s throw away from Haiti’s northern capital lies the commune of Labadie, the seaside village where Royal Caribbean brings its tourist to its private resort called Labadee. Through its Labadee Resort, Royal Caribbean promotes a “paradise found” experience complete with boat and coaster rides, relaxation spots with sweeping vistas and local cuisine.

Located about eight miles from Cap-Haïtien, Labadie’s lively public squares, colorfully-adorned streets, green mountain peaks and seaside markets present a leisurely escape from the bustling city of Cap-Haïtien.

Here, life unfolds with fishermen returning with their catch, vendors showcasing their products, and meticulous preparations for an upcoming festival, offering an authentic glimpse into the daily life of Labadie’s residents.
