Important deadlines

  • Deadline to send vote-by-mail ballots to UOCAVA voters: September 21, 2024
  • Deadline to send vote-by-mail ballots to domestic voters:  September 26, 2024 – October 3, 2024
  • Deadline to register to vote:  October 7, 2024 (no deadline to change party affiliation)
  • Deadline to request that ballot be mailed: October 24, 2024
  • Early voting period (mandatory period):  October 26 – November 2, 2024
  • Election Day:  November 5, 2024

U.S. Senate

Every Florida resident will vote for U.S. senator on the November ballot. There are six candidates running. They are:

Ballot measures

Measure name Summary
Amendment 1 Changes school board elections from nonpartisan to partisan beginning in the November 2026 general election and for primary elections nominating party candidates for the 2026 election. Click for more details
Amendment 2 Establishes a state constitutional right to hunt and fish. Click for more details
Amendment 3 Legalize marijuana for adults 21 years old and older. Click for more details
Amendment 4  Provide a state constitutional right to abortion before fetal viability. Click for more details
Amendment 5 Provide for an annual inflation adjustment for the value of the homestead property tax exemption. Click for more details
Amendment 6 Repeal a constitutional provision providing for public campaign financing for candidates who agree to spending limits. Click for more details
