Haitian American leaders, cultural figures and elected officials gathered at the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts on April 13 for “A Night for Haiti,” an invitation-only reception honoring Haitian national team forward Duckens Nazon ahead of the FIFA World Cup.

The event brought together members of the Haitian Diaspora, media professionals and policymakers for an evening that blended celebration with civic pride. Organizers framed the gathering as both a tribute to Nazon’s athletic achievements and a broader recognition of Haiti’s cultural influence on the global stage.
