Lenise Toussaint, nationally renowned Haitian centenarian, dies at 109 in Pennsylvania
After surviving Haiti’s 2010 earthquake and immigrating to the U.S., Lenise Aris Petit Toussaint was honored as the oldest living resident of Montgomery County, Penn., and recognized by national leaders. Her legacy will continue through her only surviving child, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and many more touched by her service and compassion.
