Twoubadou Lakay concluded its six-week Mizik Ayiti Residency Spring Series on May 14 at Haiti Cultural Exchange with a lively performance celebrating Haiti’s troubadour music tradition. Formed to honor the 100th anniversary of Haitian music legend Coupé Cloué, the band performed classic songs, original compositions and musical tributes inspired by Haiti’s roots music.
