Cap-Haïtien online jewelry store hosts client get-together | PHOTOS 

CAP-HAÏTIEN — BG Collections, an online jewelry and accessories store, recently hosted the second edition of its Vayb & Style gathering, bringing together clients, entrepreneurs and vendors in downtown Cap-Haïtien.

Held along Street 23-24 F on Saturday, April 25, the event allowed customers to meet the people behind the online business while browsing products in person.

“The clients got to meet the business owners, and the business owners got to meet the clients,” said Achelie Mertilus, founder of BG Collections. “We built a bond.”

The triannual event featured jewelry and accessories from BG Collections, clothing from DjaliZ and food from Flow Barbecue.

Founded in November 2024, BG Collections sells its products through WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, delivering orders directly to customers.

The event reflects a broader rise in online entrepreneurship in Cap-Haïtien, where many young adults have launched businesses selling clothing, accessories and food amid limited job opportunities and the high cost of maintaining physical storefronts.

BG Collections is among the first online stores in the city to organize in-person gatherings for clients.
