Haiti’s Marie Kemlyne Félix competes  in Miss World 2026

NEW YORK- Haiti’s representative at Miss World 2026, Marie Kemlyne Félix, remains in the competition after taking part in the latest Miss World 2026 Top Model events in Vietnam.

Félix was among the Top 60 contestants in the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest XVII and the Top Model final event on Aug. 27. The event brought contestants onto the runway to showcase Vietnamese designers and fashion brands.

The Top Model challenge is one of several paths to the Top 40. The continental Top Model winners will earn automatic places in the Top 40, while the overall Top Model winner will advance directly to the Top 20.

Félix, 25, was crowned Miss World Haiti on June 7 after being selected from 11 finalists. She is a marketing and public relations graduate and has worked on social and business initiatives focused on education, leadership and community engagement.

Haitians are hoping Félix can match or surpass the performance of her predecessor, Christee Guirand, who reached the Top 40 and placed among the Top 10 in the Americas and Caribbean at the previous Miss World competition.

Félix also remains listed for the Americas & Caribbean of the Miss World 2026 public voting competition. Fans can vote for her through the official Miss World voting portal, where the regional winner earns a direct place in the Top 40.

The Miss World 2026 final is scheduled for Sept. 5 in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
