Rebél Restaurant and Bar on Manhattan’s Lower East Side describes itself as serving Haitian and Caribbean cuisine prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant says its recipes are passed down from generation to generation.

Bettie’s — Jersey City, New Jersey

Chef Benel began as a line cook in his mother’s company before becoming head chef. Bettie’s celebrates her dishes and serves as his New Jersey project.

Grida Bistro — Abington, Massachusetts

Grida Bistro in Abington, Massachusetts, identifies as a Caribbean Southern fusion restaurant. The menu blends Caribbean flavors with Southern influences.

Casa de Amore — Florida
